Another Bite Tour

Kicking off the Another Bite Tour, Djo played a sweaty headline show at College Street Music Hall in New Haven, Connecticut. The venue was sold out to the max with a crowded first floor and every single seat taken on the balcony. To get the night started, Post Animal opened up with an amazing first set. With Djo being a collaborator on Post Animal’s new album and an old band member, most of the fans knew Post Animal quite well. Everyone on the barricade was singing along for the entire set as if they were the headlining act.

The lights dimmed after the changeover and Djo came on stage with just himself and his guitar as he played “Awake.” The full band came out as the song was wrapping up for the rest of the show. Djo always does a great job at playing songs from throughout his discography and this time was no exception. Djo’s father also happened to be in the audience which brought a fun moment to the show as he talked about being so close to home.

The overall fan favorite song had to be “End of Beginning,” but the final encore song “Flash Mountain” also sticks out as a memorable moment. Post Animal joined Djo back on stage and it feels like a great reflection of past and future, while also showcasing how much fun all of these guys have making music together. Djo’s Another Bite Tour is continuing through the end of the month with a few more festival stops if it is hitting your city!
