Sorry, I’m busy listening to BIZZY!

BIZZY is back, baby! With a voice as strong as her personality, she’s returning to the stage with one of the best songs this year - if you haven’t listened to it yet, let me explain why. Her latest single, “Tuesday,” is exactly the kind of song to bring about the end of the springtime. For all the heartbroken lover girls and lover boys still hanging on out there, the lyrics are about to hit you like a car (literally, that’s the first line of the chorus… “hit me with your car”).

Behind the music, BIZZY says the song is about that moment in which “it’s like when you’ve cried so hard you just start hysterically laughing […] They’ve done the worst already. At this point? You might as well run me over with your car.” If you’ve ever been in a situation where the state limerence outweighs the bright red flags, this is the song for you. Once you get used to that chaos, you’re unbothered… unbothered enough to dance your heart out to a song like this one! As always, it’s honest, it’s a little bit petty, a little bit funny, and it’s an on-repeat kind of record.

If you’re looking for more BIZZY, she’s going on tour supporting Rachel Chinouriri on her upcoming North American Tour. Hers is a show you do not want to miss! I had the chance to see her open for FRENSHIP and fell in love. This is a show for fans of Kesha’s brutal honesty, Sabrina Carpenter’s bubbliness, and anyone who wants a unique take on catchy alternative pop.
