An electric buzz settled over Center Stage Theater as fans of all ages poured into the venue on the hunt to find the best seat in the house for Livingston’s “The Story Continues Tour”, which rolled into Atlanta last Wednesday. Riding high on his online success and having recently been named the MTV PUSH ARTIST for April 2025, Livingston has been carving out a name for himself since 2020.
As the lights went down and the crowds excited chatter turned to cheers, Livingston took to the stage and delivered nothing short of an energetic and uplifting show. The young artist opened with his song ‘Half Life’ making a dramatic and theatrical entrance. He moved across the stage leaving no part of the crowd uninvolved.
To be honest, I was unaware of Livingston prior to covering this show. I’m of the personal belief that finding music through live performances is a special experience and finding Livingston’s music through this concert was a joy. I connected with a few fans on the barricade prior to the show and hearing them speak about their appreciation and love for Livingston and his music gave me a deeper connection when hearing his music for the first time.
Common themes he [Livingston] explores range from tackling insecurities to anxiety and overcoming those who try to put you down. Seeing fans belt out every word to songs like ‘Warrior’ and ‘Neon’ felt incredibly special to be a part of. A good chunk of the crowd were younger fans, kids whose parents still had to chaperone them.
The crowd enjoying the show!
And while many concert goers might be put off by this, it was wonderful seeing these kids come alive and the whole room felt full of hope for live music’s continuation with the younger generation. You couple that with the inspirational qualities and uplifting messages of Livingston’s music and the atmosphere ignited into something very special and sorely needed for current times. It was clear to me that Livingston’s music has touched a lot of people who have felt alone, bullied, and insecure and has created a beautifully unified fanbase.
His show moved through acts, transitioning from one to another seamlessly. Leaving act 3 into act 4, he made sure to really interact with his audience and thank them for helping him accomplish his dreams. He very sweetly called out a younger fan in the front row who had become a very vocal part of his online fanbase community. As Livingston flew through the remainder of his set performing fan favorites such as ‘Last Man Standing’ and ‘Gravedigger’. There was hardly any off stage time for the young singer, his stamina impressive as he performed song after song, never once losing his momentum and his fans made sure to return that energy, singing and dancing and giving every ounce of love they could to the artist who has made such a profound impact on their lives.
Towards the end of the show, Livingston talked about how far he’s come and how much the support means to him. He proclaimed he’d love to play arenas in the future, even making an amazed comment that that energy the crowd had that evening felt as big as an arena. With the theatrics, charisma, music, and fans that Livingston boasts, there is no doubt that he’ll be playing arenas and more in the future.
