With the excitement of St. Patrick’s Day weekend in Boston filling the air, The Summer Set took the stage for a packed house at Big Night Live last Sunday. They had incredible opening acts including Good Boy Daisy, People R Ugly, and senses. Each of them had somewhat different styles, but had great stage presence with great crowd interaction. This was a lot of band members’ first time in Boston so they took multiple crowd polls to see what exactly they should check out in the bustling city.

The Summer Set’s Meet Me At The Record Tour is named after Meet Me At The Record Store, their first full length album since 2016. The stage was designed to depict an actual record store with vinyls on shelves behind the drum kit. Announcements happened at the beginning and end of their set telling fans when the record store would open and close. They played roughly half of their new album with the rest of the set consisting of older fan favorites.

The crowd on the barricade knew every word, but the fans in the very back of the venue were having a great time too. The Summer Set always puts on a fantastic live show and this time was absolutely no exception. Their tour wraps up at the end of April and is a definite must see for anyone who has heard of them over the years!
